Located in the heart of Barrio de la Mejorada in Mérida, Yucatán, Casona DECU rediscovers the essence it held long ago, creating a smooth transition between colonial and contemporary through a central courtyard. The distinctive design elements in green tones that define Casona DECU draw inspiration from the original green tile floors that were there before, but had to be replaced due to their deteriorating condition.

In order to revive its essence and identity, every architectural element,
artistic mural, finishing work detail, kitchen detail and interior design
feature was scrupulously crafted in this color palette. Thus succesfully
capturing the aunthentic spirit of the casona while seamlessly adapting it
to a contemporary style that enhances its rich history.
